A guy must survive a jail where dangerous criminals fight to the death for the enjoyment of the wardens.

Kyle LeBlanc is an American who works in Russia. Kyle goes home after hearing his wife being abused over the phone, only to discover that he is too late. Due to a lack of evidence, the man who murdered his wife was declared not guilty. As a result, Kyle takes the law into his own hands and murders the man in order to revenge his wife's death. He was condemned to life in jail without the possibility of release. The Russian jail he is transported to is harsh, and the warden entertains himself by staging fights in which he makes money by betting on the battles. Kyle begins to crack and become insane, so he is compelled to fight since the warden knows he is a sure thing. 451 is Kyle's cellmate.
