BROKEN VOW

Juliet, a humble shepherdess, and Tony, a herder on the property of a rich Cattle King, fall in love. They frequently meet at the trysting location, which is under a massive tree on the edge of a cliff. Juliet is unintentionally shot and is taken to the Cattle King's mansion, where she heals. She marries him after being enticed by promises of gifts and other money. After two years, Tony notices the rancher riding through the woods. A scuffle follows and results in a triumph for Tony who, after tying the ranchman to the tree at the trysting location, sends for Juliet, and, before the eyes of the husband, throws her and himself over the cliff into eternity.

Juliet, while being a lowly shepherdess, is well aware of her allure. Tony, a cow herder on the ranch of a rich cattle king, is madly in love with her. On his way to town with a herd of cattle, he pauses for a few seconds to see his sweetheart and presents her with a necklace, which they both believe is a mark of their betrothal. He informs his boss of the happy news of his engagement. The lovers' favorite meeting point is under a tree on the edge of a cliff, where they promise eternal devotion. The cattle king's mansion is a hotspot for fast society.


During one of these social gatherings, the cattleman and his pals decide to go hunting, with Tony as their guide. Juliet is inadvertently shot during the hunt and is brought away by the ranchman in his car, despite Tony's protests. Juliet's recovery takes many months, and she has inadvertently captured the rich ranchman's admiration. When the ranchman entices her with diamonds and ornamental trinkets, she is well and strong enough to return home.
